Blueming Biotech is an SME dedicated to the development and commercialization of innovative technologies aimed at improving water resource management, safety, and conservation. To this end, we have created Ecometry, a novel electrochemical analyzer capable of performing rapid measurements of dissolved nutrients/pollutants and essential parameters in both fresh and marine water. Our analyzers are revolutionizing the industry with their advanced electrochemical technology.
The flagship of our range is the Ecometry Nano, a true engineering feat. The size of a matchbox and connected to a smartphone, this device performs comprehensive analyses of multiple compounds, including nitrates (NO3), phosphates (PO4), ammonia (NH4), and potassium (K), without the need for chemicals, tedious calibrations, or waste generation. It is important to note that our system does NOT rely on conductivity approximations; instead, WE DIRECTLY MEASURE THE IONS. Our unique technology enables the reduction and oxidation (Redox) of molecules on the surface of an electrode, harnessing the specific energy potential of each molecule to react.
The highlight of the Ecometry system is its focus on voltammetry (PCT patented), an electro-analytical method that uses reusable sensors with an extremely low replacement cost. Additionally, with NEOTEC funding from the Spanish Ministry of Industry, we are working diligently to develop a line of Ecometry units designed for autonomous monitoring and wireless communication in various key sectors where water quality is critical.

We offer our expertise and the utilization of our technology to integrate it into the project. to this end, we provided access to our advanced chemistry and electronics laboratories, voltammetric equipment, and electronics for prototype design, as well as considerable computational capabilities. Additionally, we have access to greenhouses and open-field cultures for testing.
