Indirect actions funded by PRIMA-IS (EU contribution) following Transnational Calls organised by PRIMA-IS. Actions are evaluated, selected and funded in line with the Rules for Participation of Horizon Europe according to a two-stage submission process and are centrally managed by the PRIMA IS. 

Grant agreements are to be signed with PRIMA-IS based on the Horizon Europe Grant Agreement.

In 2026, the Section 1 supports three types of actions, Innovation Actions (IAs), Coordination and Support Actions (CSAs), and activities analogous to Horizon Europe’s Research and Innovation Actions (RIAs), in accordance with the Horizon Europe Rules for Participation (RfP) and the legal framework established under Decision (EU) 2017/1324 as amended by Decision (EU) 2024/1167.
