Indirect actions funded by PRIMA-IS (EU contribution) following Transnational Calls organised by PRIMA-IS. Actions are evaluated, selected and funded in line with the Rules for Participation of Horizon 2020 according to a two-stage submission process and are centrally managed by the PRIMA IS.
Grant agreements are to be signed with PRIMA-IS based on the H2020 Model Grant Agreement.
In section 1, activities of the PRIMA programme are supported along with three distinct types of actions as defined in the General Annex D of the Horizon 2020 Work Programme 2018-2020.

While RIAs in Section 1 refers to Technology Readiness Level7 3-5, IAs refers to Technology Readiness Level 6-7 as set out in Section 5 of this document (D. Type of Action General Annexes8).
Innovation Actions should include activities directly aiming at producing plans and arrangements or designs for new, altered or improved products, processes or services. For this purpose, they may include prototyping, testing, demonstrating, piloting, large-scale product validation and market replication. Organisational innovation activities 9-10 could also be included.
Activities supporting programme operations funded and implemented by the PRIMA-IS Activities implemented by PRIMA-IS for the Evaluation of the submitted proposals in response to Section 1 Calls and monitoring of the funded projects.
