The Italian National Research Council (CNR) is a public organization of great relevance in the field of scientific and technological research of the Country. In the ambit of Italian Regional Technology policy, the IPCB (Institute of Polymers, Composite and Biomaterials) of CNR in Pozzuoli (Naples), operates in the area through an organized network supporting collaboration between firms and research. It offers industrial organizations not only the ability to search for technologies, but also it offers companies the possibility to request for technology not appearing in the market and for solutions to technical problems, the possibility to offer and request partnership for projects, and, mainly, it always puts companies in touch with consultant experts on the request technology. The IPCB is located in Pozzuoli (NA), with support units located in Napoli/Portici, Catania and Lecco. The research lines of IPCB represent the convergence of the skills coming from the original Institutes, with a vision projected on the research developments at European level. Research activities are split into one of three main topics: -SUSTAINABILITY-INNOVATIVE MATERIALS- HEALTH and NANO MEDICINE.
