Research and Demo facility partners

Trigo Solar is a developer of a water-energy Agrivoltaic solution to harmonize the deployment of utility scale solar energy in harmony with rainfed farms in semi-arid areas.

Harnessing the resources of the solar industry, Trigo is able to provide rainfed farms with precision irrigation tools and infrastructure to increase farm profitability, reduce cultivation risks for staple food crops and potentially allow a 2nd irrigated crop rotation for extra profitability and soil regeneration.

Following successful partnerships and demo facilities in the US and Israel, Trigo is looking promote joint research with local institutions in Greece/Italy/Spain/Cyprus and Morocco.
The facilities will engage in applicable research of the benefits provided by Trigo system to increase farm output, preserve water, regenerate soil, reduce farming expenses and significantly improve profitability, drought protection.
Crops research can range according to local precipitation (200-700 mm) from staple food to forage.

In addition, the facilities will be displayed for demonstration for parties from the agricultural and renewable energy sectors in Agri- Solar collaboration.
