Our team is largely experienced in molecular plant pathology, plant physiology, and molecular responses in plant - pathogen interactions. We are experienced for example in the characterization of fungal and bacterial diversity in the rhizosphere or endophytic communities, plant-associated diseases, antibiotic resistant bacteria virulence traits, pathogenicity traits or identification and characterization of plant-growth promoters. Now, We are working on new biological control approaches for fungal diseases threatening olive trees, either by selecting antagonist bacteria from different biological samples or by testing new compost formulations obtained by waste valorization.
