The activities of my research group "Agro Industrial Technologies" are carried out in the field of process engineering, and focused on optimizing solid/liquid extraction and separation processes from agro-resources in a sustainable development strategy.
The main research axes of the research group are the:
- processes of extraction of biomolecules (polyphenols, proteins, sugars, lignin, hemicellulose, cellulose,...)
- integration of innovative and emerging technologies for intensification of the mass transfer : pulsed electric field, ultrasounds, microwaves, electrical discharges,...
- development of eco-friendly process by used green solvents (Supercritical fluids, NADES,...)
- membrane separation/filtration technologies (microfiltration, ultrafiltration and dynamic filtration)
- degradation of pollutants in water and industrial wastewater.
- modeling of mass transfer phenomena -
