Lead and consortium partners to apply for Section 1

FTL is a Lebanese NGO founded in 2006, aiming to support small local agro-food producers in
Lebanon through job creation and economic empowerment, all over Lebanon and the region. FTL works according to Fair Trade principles which include a commitment to Non-Discrimination, Gender Equity and Women’s Economic Empowerment and Freedom of Association. Trade, not aid is the principle at the core of what we stand for at FTL. FTL’s mission is to support small producers through the creation of sustainable income generating activities. FTL’s main field of intervention is the agri-food sector, tourism, agriculture, environment and fair trade. FTL designs projects to improve livelihood of vulnerable communities, especially in rural areas. FTL’s main objective is to help women, men and youth stay in their villages, invest in their lands, and get access to local and international markets to sell their products. FTL is member of several networks in Lebanon and worldwide including WFTO, agro-ecological coalition and so on.

FTL is looking to be part of a consortium. We are looking for institution, universities and NGOs in the Mediterranean/Europe.
