The Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH) combines its excellent research infrastructures and highly qualified research staff to transform scientific knowledge into innovative technological applications. Dedicated to this mission, CERTH plays, through the development of technologies of the future, a decisive role in the processes of creating innovation both in Greece and in Europe, thus strengthening the domestic and European economy. In 2022, CERTH secured 55.6 million euros, of which 11% comes from entering into contracts with industry for the provision of research services, 80% from the Center's participation in competitive research programs and just 9% from a state grant, proving for one more year its self-financed operating model ,https://www.certh.gr/ .

Thematic Area 1-Water management in the Nexus:: Topic 1.1.1-2024 (IA) Sustainability of Mediterranean irrigated agriculture through the implementation of WEFE Nexus approach.

Description of collaboration sought/proposed:

We are interested in participating to a consortium for topic 1.1.1-2024. Our team consists of expert Geoscientists who can contribute to the following fields:

- Hydrogeological conceptualization
-Groundwater/surface water hydrogeochemical characterization
-Groundwater modeling with MODLFOW and reactive transport modeling with MT3DMS
-Geochemical modeling with PHREEQC
-GIS services (e.g. online Web GIS platform development for stakeholder participation)
-Remote sensing services ( processing of satellite images etc.)
