Jordan has unique geological attribute enhances the efficiency of a certain renewable energy and makes it a viable and sustainable option for several utilizations. Recognizing the significance of this natural resource, there is a pressing need for extensive research to explore its utilization for heating greenhouses in cold winters. In the last decade, with the global changes of climate, freezing temperature had been recorded in some agricultural areas in Jordan, the needs of heating had been raised in this area. Such situation had a negative impact on the crops in the green houses in these areas. A simple and feasible heating system is in the highest priorities currently. With the applicable and feasible utilization of renewable energy for heating, such crops loss could be avoided and more agricultural improvement could be achieved by keep greenhouse temperature steady and suitable for different crops. The idea of this work is to build a simple heating system in winter using the current thermal waters, which is considered as unlimited supply source for warm water in the area. The idea will be discussed in detail with a researcher group of geologists, hydrologists, mechanical and agriculture engineers. We are looking for partners and a coordinator from EU to lead this guaranteed success project.
