We would gladly work as a partner on a PRIMA project. Our experiences are:
* Gelatin extraction, optimization and characterization from animal by-products (especially poultry by-product)
* Optimization of gelatin-based coating solutions.
* Optimization of gelatin-based biomaterial modification (improvement) by cross-linking naturally with some polyphenols (such as caffeic acid and rutin).
* Hydrogels
* Biodegradable film preparations and characterization from gelatin.
* Evaluating some antimicrobial and antioxidant properties of potein based biodegradable films.
* Making biodegradable film materials from gelatin combining with some other biopolymers (such as chitosan, carrageenan, ..).
* Meat technology -
Gelatin, chicken gelatin, edible coating, biodegradable films, hydrogels, gelatin extraction from poultry by-products, natural cross-linking, meat technology.

I'm food engineer working as an assistant professor in Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University, Türkiye.
Now, I’m conducting three different projects about the development of edible films prepared by biodegradable biopolymers materials such as gelatin, carrageenan and chitosan.
