The Olive Growers Cooperative Limited is the national organisation that unites all olive growers in Malta and Gozo. The olive sector in Malta is composed of small farms that are family owned and the harvest is carried out during September to December. Olives are pressed in nine private olive presses. We are highly interested to introduce quality control systems with tree geo-tagging and traceability system. We are open for all types of cooperation.

We are manly interested in a project that will assess the feasibility of introducing quality control in olive oil production through a traceability system, with a software deployment at all phases of the supply chain. Furthermore we are open for cooperation about exchange of know how on olive cultivation, pests control, climate change and waste management.
