We are a multidisciplinary team (soil microbiology, Soil fertility, Agroecology, Socioeconomics) Looking for a consortium to contribute to the Topic 1.2.1-2023 (IA) Actions to restore and return degraded lands in the Mediterranean region into productive agroecosystems, providing expertise on: – Valorisation of agricultural and agro-industrial wastes as biofertilizer – Application of biofertilizers (Biochar, Compost, Lombricompost, Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi) to improve agroecosystem and counteract the ongoing land degradation and desertification of dryland soils. – Establishment of innovation platform in order to constantly evaluate and adopt innovative solutions developed in a participatory approach jointly with stakeholders and assure the transfer of technical and methodological innovations to a broader circle of stakeholders including regional and national agricultural agencies in order to influence their operational procedures.
