Looking for a consortium as a partner for Topic 2.3.1: Novel antimicrobial food packaging and coating materials

IAU is a comprehensive university encourages interdisciplinary collaboration and research and has engineering laboratories equipped with up-to-date technology.

We are interested in joining a project on new antimicrobial food packaging and coating materials to reduce food waste to improve food safety. We have knowledge and experience in producing active and intelligent food packaging films using novel ingredients, determining and improving their physicochemical, mechanical, barrier, thermal and optical properties. We have also been working on food processing, obtaining valuable products from food waste and by-products, extracting bioactive components and increasing the shelf life of foods with food coatings containing antimicrobial substances.
