We want to improve the technology readiness level (TRL) developed variable rate irrigation controller and apply it in field crop growing such as maize for silage irrigated by travelling irrigator. In addition, we can develop a variable rate controller for drip irrigation for fruits such as almond/grape irrigated by drip irrigation to prevent and reduce land and water salinization.
A variable rate controller and prescription map software for travelling irrigators for field crops were developed by our research team.
