Low-cost, lean solutions for enhancing irrigation efficiency of smallholder farmers
Integrated water management aims to promote water supply from conventional sources and wastewater reuse to address issues such as water scarcity. The main objective is to develop an experimental system for greywater treatment with the optimum cost and reuse it in the residential building’s facilities. The main result will help decision-makers select the optimum alternatives according to life cycle costing. Furthermore, this study will be showing the presented experimental study, which uses a conventional treatment process built with existing systems that can achieve relatively good results of greywater treatment, particularly infiltration by a mixture between screen filter and gravel filter. In this study, we will be using renewable energy/solar energy to help the decision-makers solve the problems of water-lifting machine systems control in Egypt with new innovative technology. Moreover, use new and clean technology as a post-treatment process, which is atmospheric pressure plasma (APP) to increase the quality of the treated gray water.
