Innovative processes for proteins extraction from renewable sources of Méditerranéen plant origin
Algeria, due to its climate and the nature of its soils, has a flora particularly rich in medicinal and aromatic plants, and the medicinal use of plants is one of the oldest therapeutic practices. Today, herbs are widely used and especially recommended by therapists and public health organizations. The objective of our research mainly concerns the valorization of primary metabolites (proteins) of plant origin for food (preservative, coloring and dietary supplement) utilization. The application of ultrasound and green deep eutectic solvents (DES) to matrices for the extraction of proteins from renewable sources (buds and fruits) was investigated. This combination has aroused great interest because of its relevance to current trends, which has reduced the number and time of extraction, energy consumption compared to conventional extraction techniques. As a first step, the optimization of the ultrasound-assisted eco-extraction of proteins metabolites and their identification were carried out. Encapsulation to increase activity and stabilize molecules was also assessed. Currently, we are looking for a partner to support us in the realization of a project which consists in promoting the medicinal plants of North Africa on an international scale. Considering the scale of this project, we felt that a partnership would be a better option. With a meeting, we could discuss more about this project. On the occasion, we have already participated in national competitions and a business plan has enabled us to assess our expectations in this project as well as the chances of its success. In the hope that our proposal inspires you, please accept Mr. and Madam project managers, the assurance of our sincere greetings.

REMARKS

With more than 20 years of experience in this field, we have been able to sufficiently develop valuation strategies and to propose the products of our research as products of economic interest. The proteins were extracted from renewable sources of plants (buds and fruits).
