TUM has participated in several EU/PRIMA projects. We can offer the following:
1. Analysis of bioactive substances using high-end analytics, including high-resolution mass spectrometry (HRMS) and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (NMR).
2. Evaluation of biological activities of identified/isolated bioactive substances (anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant effects) under laboratory conditions.
3. Studying the mechanism of action of potential bioactive substances that could exhibit antibacterial activity, especially the assignment of metabolic targets for the most promising candidates using novel 13C labelling technology.
4. Assessment of the developed product in an animal model
5. Developing strategies to integrate bioactive substances into industry.
