NexusArt, a pioneering initiative by the PRIMA project Nexus Ness, is set to travel to Barcelona with a transformative art exhibition this October. This exhibition, which will debute at the FAO headquarters in Rome in mid-October hosted by the FAO World Food Forum flagship event, underscores the power of interdisciplinary collaboration in breaking knowledge, technological and policy barriers to tackle environmental challenges and address water, energy and food security issues.

Bridging disciplines for a common cause

In an era where the climate crisis demands innovative solutions, NexusArt emerges as a lighthouse of innovation and creativity. Supported by PRIMA and orchestrated by the Università per Stranieri di Perugia’s Water Resources Research and Documentation Center (WARREDOC), NexusArt embodies the essence of Euro-Mediterranean cooperation. This initiative, as the NEXUS NESS project, brings together academia, industries, and communities, fostering a symbiotic relationship between water, food, energy, and ecosystem (WEFE) components embracing WEFE Nexus approaches.

By uniting engineers, architects, economists, sociologists, and humanities scholars with contemporary artists, NexusArt aims to engage communities and spark dialogue on the pressing issue of climate change.

Call to Action

NexusArt’s mission is clear: to utilize the universal language of art to bridge sectors and foster collaborative frameworks. By showcasing the intersection of art and science, this initiative aims to inspire collective action towards a sustainable future.

Join us at the Recinte Modernista de Sant Pau and be part of this journey where art meets science.
