Ibn Tofail University is one of the twelve public universities in the Kingdom of Morocco.

Plant protection strategies; the valorisation of natural resources to improve yields in response to climate change.
One of the main objectives of our laboratory Natural ressources and Sustainable Developement is to promote research in the field of agriculture in the face of disturbances caused by climate change, using natural solutions and innovative techniques. Our research team focuses on the use of certain natural products (aromatic and medicinal plants, marine products, etc.) and phytobeneficial microorganisms in agriculture. These resources are studied for crop bio control and biostimulation. Our research unit is also involved in in vitro plant culture (multiplication and improvement with respect to abiotic constraints such as hydric and saline stress. Research at our unit is carried out in the laboratory, in the growth chamber under controlled conditions, and in the greenhouse.
