Cluster organisation (Almeria, Spain) offering living-lab, stakeholder engagement and dissemination for PRIMA 2026 consortia on ICT pest/disease monitoring and digital food traceability
Innovacal is a non-profit business cluster bringing together more than 80 companies across the intensive agriculture and agri-food value chain in Almeria, Spain, one of Europe’s largest hubs of controlled-environment horticulture: irrigation and climate control technology, sensors and precision agriculture, bio-inputs, agricultural plastics, post-harvest and packaging, and logistics. We connect companies, farmers, technology centres and public administrations, and give access to a living-lab network of greenhouses and farms operated by our member companies.

We are looking to join a PRIMA 2026 consortium (Section 1 or Section 2) on Topic 2.2.1 (ICT monitoring and control against disease and pest infestation) and/or Topic 2.3.1 (digital traceability for Mediterranean food value chains). Innovacal can contribute: (1) a living-lab network of commercial greenhouses and farms in Almeria for field validation and demonstration of sensing, monitoring and traceability solutions; (2) multi-actor stakeholder engagement and co-definition of needs with our 80+ member companies (irrigation, climate control, sensors, agri-food processing, logistics); (3) dissemination, training and multiplier activities towards the agri-food sector in South-East Spain. We are open to a partner or associated-partner role and welcome contact from coordinators still completing their consortium ahead of the 2026 call deadlines.
