The Dresden Nexus Conference enters a new phase in 2027, convening for the first time outside Germany in Barcelona, Spain.

Under the theme “Advancing the Resource Nexus: from the Source to Sea Continuum,” DNC Mediterranean Edition 2027 will bring together leaders from science, policy, and practice to address interconnected challenges of water, energy, food and other environmental resources in the context of vital ecosystems and planetary health.

DNC Mediterranean Edition 2027 is organised by UNU FLORES, the Leibniz Institute of Ecological Urban and Regional Development and the Dresden University of Technology in partnership with regional partners Euro-Mediterranean Economists Association – EMEA and PRIMA.

The conference will be hosted in the Sant Pau Recinte Modernista.
