Faculty of Sciences and Techniques of Sidi Bouzid is an establishment under the University of Kairouan which has a dual role of teaching and scientific research in several disciplines. Currently housing three departments, the FST of Sidi Bouzid provides training in four basic licenses and two applied licenses. A biotechnology department which provides training in life and environmental sciences and technology in the agri-food industry and quality control. in this establishment there is a research laboratory in these fields
