Sustainable Water Management: Groundwater Flow, Contaminant Transport, and Climate Resilience

TOPICS

KEYWORDS

Groundwater flow, water quality, pollution, saltwater intrusion, saline lakes, arid environments, riverbank filtration, climate change adaptation, nature-based solutions

DESCRIPTION

We aim to join consortia focused on water sustainability, groundwater protection, and climate resilience. Our expertise includes hydrogeological modeling of flow, heat, and contaminant transport, as well as assessing the impacts of human activities (e.g., wastewater pollution, groundwater pumping, agriculture, and emerging contaminants) and climate change on various hydrogeological systems (e.g., coastal aquifers, freshwater and saline lakes, riverbank filtration, rural and urban aquifers, and arid environments). Additionally, we have experience in evaluating nature-based solutions to mitigate these impacts.
