insect behaviour, biotremology, semiochemicals, agroecology, biodiversity, pest monitoring, soil health, pollinators, dryland farming, wetland agroecosystems, ecological indicators, nature-based solutions
We are looking to join consortia (Section 1 and/or Section 2) focused on agroecological transitions, biodiversity in farming systems, and sustainable, low-input pest management. We offer expertise in insect behaviour, vibrational and chemical communication, biodiversity monitoring, and the ecological roles of insects in soil and habitat health. We are particularly interested in Mediterranean dryland and wetland agroecosystems and seek collaborations that priorities biology-based approaches to practical farming and conservation.
