The NanoTherapeutics Lab at the National Hellenic Research Foundation (NHRF) in Athens, Greece, offers expertise in the design, development, and evaluation of nanocarriers for the delivery of bioactive compounds, enzymes, and drugs. Areas of specialization include nanoemulsions, microemulsions, liposomes, lipid nanoparticles, and related hydrogel systems, with a focus on improving solubility, stability, bioactive’s activity, targeting, and bioavailability.
Capabilities include the development of tailored nanocarriers, in vitro and in vivo evaluation of formulations, and physicochemical and structural characterization. Available instrumentation includes EPR, DLS, high-pressure homogenization, and Franz diffusion cells, with access to SAXS, cryo-TEM, and in vivo imaging through NHRF core facilities.
Open to contributing to collaborative projects involving sustainable agriculture, food systems, or health-related applications through advanced delivery technologies.
