Our multidisciplinary research cluster is actively seeking to join a consortium under the PRIMA 2025 call for the following topics:
Topic 1.1.1-2025: Upscaling Nature-Based Solutions for sustainable water management to address extreme events in the Mediterranean.
Topic 1.2.1-2025: Enhancement of Sustainable Farming Systems within Mediterranean Wetlands for Conservation and Coexistence.
We bring together a dynamic team of agronomists, geneticists, and agro-economists, with a strong focus on sustainable agriculture management in Mediterranean agroecosystems. Our expertise covers field experimentation, crop-water-soil interactions, varietal adaptation under stress, and agroecological practices.
Our group has an extensive network of stakeholders, including smallholder and large-scale farmers, cooperatives, extension officers, and regional authorities. We are experienced in co-designing and piloting solutions with end-users, ensuring strong local relevance and knowledge uptake.
We have prior involvement in both PRIMA and Horizon Europe projects, with proven capacity in WP leadership, dissemination, and participatory research.
We are open to collaborations on proposal development or to contributing as WP/task leaders.
