The mission of the university is the graduate and post-graduate education as well as the research.
Our University offers three levels of education (Licence, Master, Doctorate) according to the following five areas: Science and Technology (ST), Computer Mathematics (MI), Sciences of
the matter (SM), Natural Science and Life (SNV), Earth Sciences and Astronomy (STU).
At present, the USTHB consists of 67 research laboratories. . The USTHB promotes the opening of the research laboratories to the national and international scientific cooperation in order to strengthen the international dimension of research, and lent her support to all scientific programs of cooperation involving the USTHB laboratories and Algerian and foreign aboratories. - Topic 2.1.1-2023 (RIA) New governance models to define best practices for sustainable water management and conflict mitigation.
