The Municipality of Eilat offers its expertise as an operational demo site for smart city projects. As a member of the 100 Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities Mission and with a proven track record of successful partnerships within HE and H2020, Eilat is a unique and valuable pilot city. The city's remoteness and extreme desert climate have driven our commitment to building resilience and achieving advanced energy efficiency, with 100% of the daytime electricity coming from renewable sources. Additionally, we can contribute to the following aspects of the proposal: Implementing and feasibility check of various smart city solutions in the public area, designing new regulatory frameworks, implementation of new business models, using the existing infrastructure of cameras across the city, and integration of the local community into the solution development.
