In recent years we have developed different projects co-financed by national and community funds, namely, the intermunicipal plan for adaptation to climate change, intermunicipal plan for risk management, control of invasive exotic species, integrated video surveillance system for the prevention of forest fires, among others. other projects aimed at better articulating inter-municipal investments in the area of the environment, nature conservation, forests, security and civil protection. We are currently involved in the RESIST project funded by Horizonte Europe which aims to increase the resilience and adaptability of 12 regions of the European Union to the impacts of climate change. In this context, CIM RC leads a demonstrator that will be promoted in the Region of Coimbra associated with the problem of rural fires. In view of the above and considering the notices that are currently open within the scope of Horizonte Europe, the CIM Region of Coimbra is interested in establishing partnerships with entities that are promoting projects for the aforementioned notices in the areas listed above and which are priorities for us .
