The Djillali Liabès University of Sidi Bel Abbès (UDL) is a major public higher education institution located in western Algeria. It offers a wide range of academic fields, and my work is within the domain of Natural and Life Sciences. The university is officially recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and is strongly oriented toward scientific research and innovation. It is also ranked among the leading universities in Algeria according to recent evaluations based on scientific research output.

The objective of this project is to contribute to improving the quality of products intended for human consumption while valorizing natural plant-based products. The development of this crop would also make it possible to valorize by-products in animal feed, produce high-quality food, and thereby reduce costs while making the final products more accessible.
