As a public body, IBB manages extensive and critical infrastructures, including integrated water management, agricultural services, and environmental protection.
Within the scope of PRIMA, IBB operates as a strategic ‘Living Lab’ and a key ‘End-User.’ We manage vast municipal agricultural lands and green spaces that serve as ideal sites for the large-scale testing and validation of innovative smart irrigation solutions. Our Department of Agricultural Services provides comprehensive support to local farmers and producers, including irrigation systems, fertilizers, seeds, seedlings, and fuel subsidies. IBB offers robust capabilities in pilot project implementation, high-quality data collection, and the seamless integration of research outcomes into sustainable urban policies and regional development strategies.
