Together Association for Development and Environment (TADE) is an Egyptian non-governmental organization working in the field of sustainable development, with a strong focus on creating measurable and long-term impact in underserved and marginalized communities, particularly in rural Upper Egypt. TADE adopts an integrated development approach that links economic empowerment, improvement of basic services, community capacity building, and environmental protection to ensure sustainability and maximize social return on development investments. TADE has extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing community-based development projects in close partnership with donors, government entities, civil society organizations, and the private sector. The organization operates with a strong commitment to transparency, accountability, and effective use of resources, supported by clear monitoring and evaluation systems that enable donors to track progress and assess impact. The association’s portfolio includes large-scale and innovative interventions in water, sanitation, agricultural activities and environmental sustainability. These include the Integrated Rural Sanitation Project and the Sustainable Rural Sanitation Services Program (SRSSP – Program for Results), through which TADE supported community participation, institutional capacity building, grievance mechanisms, and citizen engagement in several governorates. TADE has also implemented environmentally focused initiatives such as the Safe Disposal of Agricultural Waste Project, High-Quality Compost Production from Agricultural Residues, and Biogas Units for Renewable Energy, contributing to pollution reduction, improved soil quality, and alternative energy solutions.
