In 2027, the Dresden Nexus Conference – Mediterranean Edition 2027 comes to Barcelona, Spain, 27–29 April 2027, under the theme “Advancing the Resource Nexus: from the Source to Sea Continuum.”
We’re happy to announce that the Dresden Nexus Conference 2027 Call for Abstracts and Session Proposals is now open.
Since 2015, the #DresdenNexusConference has been the leading international platform for the Resource Nexus approach, bringing together researchers, policymakers, practitioners, UN agencies and civil society.
After ten years in Dresden, DNC now leaves Germany for the first time: DNC 2027 convenes in Barcelona for a #MediterraneanEdition to link the conference’s focus on integrated management of environmental resources to the host region’s environment that is characterized by water-scarcity, and the question of managing the land–sea continuum that is of particular relevance to coastal regions such as those of the Mediterranean.
The Call for Abstracts and Session Proposals on: 15 October and closes on 15 November 2026.
Researchers, policymakers and practitioners: share your insights, perspectives and practical experience as we shape the DNC 2027 agenda, and help us reach a broader community by sharing this call with colleagues and partners working on Nexus-related challenges.
