2.1.1: Proposals that aim at reducing the contamination and salinization of water bodies (nitrates, pesticides, etc.) by agri-food practices. CTAEX could participate in the development of on-site validation of technical solutions to reduce contamination of water streams
1.2.1: Proposals that aim at monitoring of soil and land degradation in the Mediterranean area, and developing of soil indicators (chemical, physical and biological) for a region-wide assessment of soil ecosystem health.
1.3.1: Proposals whose aim is the search of alternative and cheaper sources of proteins in the Mediterranean Region and the development and production of novel protein‐enriched foods.
2.3.1: Proposals increasing awareness of the general benefits of the Mediterranean diets. Proposals that aim introducing new and healthy low-processed Mediterranean food products.
