Seeking scientific and technical collaboration for the development of a research project focused on the spatio-temporal assessment of coastal water pollution in the Mediterranean, with particular emphasis on the Algerian coastline and the Bay of Algiers.
The project aims to contribute to the protection and restoration of marine ecosystems through interdisciplinary approaches combining environmental analysis, remote sensing, GIS, spatial modelling, and water quality monitoring.
The proposed collaboration includes:
sharing scientific data, methodologies, and expertise;
developing innovative tools for environmental monitoring and assessment;
conducting joint studies on the impacts of anthropogenic discharges and climate change on coastal environments;
designing sustainable strategies for the management and restoration of Mediterranean marine ecosystems;
participating in international projects, scientific publications, and academic mobility programs.
Particular attention will be given to sustainable solutions and ecosystem-based approaches to support environmental resilience and integrated coastal zone management in the Mediterranean region.
