The teaching includes fundamental sciences and courses in applied sciences which are always closely related to the natural conditions of the country: arid farming, underproduction, pathology of hot countries, breeding, hydraulics, erosion, problems of economic growth, etc.
With a network of 6,000 graduates, INAT now has 1,400 students enrolled, including 550 students enrolled in the engineering cycle and 400 students enrolled between Masters and Doctorates.

INAT houses a doctoral school and hosts five laboratories and a research unit working on priority themes, whose scientific productions and publications provide solutions to the agro-ecology and agro-industry sectors, considered as the two pillars of our agriculture.
