We are seeking to join consortia applying under the PRIMA 2025 calls, particularly within themes addressing climate change adaptation, nature-based solutions, sustainability, green infrastructure, solid waste management, and integrated water resources management. Irbid Greater Municipality is a leading local government entity in northern Jordan, actively engaged in implementing sustainable urban development strategies and climate-resilient public services. The municipality has previously participated in several EU-funded projects focused on urban sustainability, circular economy, and environmental governance, including NEXTMED and ENI CBC MED programs. We have hands-on experience in managing urban solid waste, promoting green building standards, and restoring degraded urban spaces through community-based, nature-based interventions. We are particularly interested in contributing to work packages focused on pilot implementation of sustainable municipal services, citizen engagement in circular economy initiatives, and integrated planning for water, waste, and urban resilience. We offer access to municipal facilities and infrastructure for field trials, established networks with local stakeholders and civil society, and institutional commitment to long-term sustainability goals under national and regional climate strategies.
