The Agrivoltaics Team of the Solar Research Institute at DLR is looking to join a consortium in Topic 2.2.1. Upscaling Agroecology Practices at the Farm Level in the Mediterranean. We can contribute with simulation models, meteorological(irradiance) nowcasting and forecasting, development of technical solutions for rainwater harvesting in agrivoltaics, deployment of a living-lab in an ecological vineyard in southern Spain.
Agrivoltaics can play a key technical role in supporting sustainable agroecological practices, e.g. for regional food production and enabling climate adaptation and nature restoration.
