DESCRIPTION

We be very interested in joining a consortium where my lab’s expertise can contribute meaningfully to collaborative research efforts. I lead the NanoTherapeutics Lab at the National Hellenic Research Foundation (NHRF) in Athens, Greece. Our work focuses on the design, development, and evaluation of nanocarriers—ranging from nano- and microemulsions to liposomes, lipid nanoparticles, and related hydrogel systems—for the encapsulation and delivery of bioactive compounds, enzymes and drugs. We are able to design appropriate carriers with targeting purposes while evaluate them in vitro and in vivo. The lab is equipped with advanced tools including EPR, DLS, homogenizers, and Franz diffusion cells, with access to SAXS, cryo-TEM, and in vivo imaging through NHRF facilities. We are particularly interested in discussing potential collaborative opportunities.
