We are seeking a collaboration envisioned to foster innovation in sustainable agriculture, particularly in the area of agroforestry. This is especially timely, as intercropping practice is increasingly recognized for its potential to support climate change adaptation. Through this collaboration, we aim to amplify the impact of these practices, leveraging shared expertise to advance knowledge and sustainable agricultural solutions.
Our laboratory is duly furnished with a range of agricultural equipment for conducting extended experiments and field trials and an array of scientific equipment and materials including an incubator, oven, binocular magnifier, grinder and precision balance. A dedicated demo site was established to serve as a designated land for the implementation of field activities. In addition, the infrastructure includes controlled growing rooms and buildings for experiments and animal rearing.
Accordingly, GDI association established a large network with local farmers and companies working in the field of agriculture, by supporting and providing lands for conducting several research activities. The association contributes to sustainable development at the local, regional and national levels in various agricultural and environmental fields, adopting renewable approaches, modern technologies, innovative and environmentally friendly technologies in collaboration with local farmers, producers and companies.
