We would like to join a project to protect water resources against misuse such as pollution, waste, irrigation, especially in semi-arid areas where there is scarcity of precipitation. Where we can reduce the impact of wastewater discharges on the environment and health. And we think about the possibility of reusing wastewater in several sectors (agriculture, industrial, services ...).
DESCRIPTION OF YOUR ORGANISATION:
We are of branch of geography, territorial planning and environmental management with other groups of applied microbiology that works on wastewater and reuse.
Knowing that the project will be carried out between the Department of Microbiology, University of Barcelona, Barcelona, Spain and Department of Microbiology, Ferhat Abbas University, Setif1, Algeria.
The Partnership for Research and Innovation in the Mediterranean Area will devise new R&I approaches to improve water availability and sustainable agriculture production in a region heavily distressed by climate change, urbanisation and population growth
