We develop tools and metodologies to anticipate the effects and pressures of climate change and of urbanisation on the mediteranean area.
For example, we developed a tool that anticipates the effects of climate change on biomass productivity and vegetation structure of meditarranean forest. The results helps to promote the sustainability of the wood energy supply chain.
We also work on anticipating the human relations in implementing new territorial strategies. We develop the ecological negociation concept that aims at creating an adapted territorial chains of values able to integrate climate change and new models of development.
DESCRIPTION OF YOUR ORGANISATION:
Ases - Ecological and Sustainable Services is a scientific organisation. We develop studies, tools and metodologies to implement the best sustainable development conditions and to adapt the socio-economical life of a territory to its ecological caracteristics (biodiversity, landscape, agriculture...).
We specialized on the territorial and ecological integration of renewable energy.
The Partnership for Research and Innovation in the Mediterranean Area will devise new R&I approaches to improve water availability and sustainable agriculture production in a region heavily distressed by climate change, urbanisation and population growth
The PRIMA programme is an Art.185 initiative supported and funded under Horizon 2020, the European Union’s Framework Programme for Research and Innovation.
