UNU-FLORES is one of 14 institutes and programmes, located in 12 different countries, which together comprise the United Nations University (UNU)—a global think tank and postgraduate teaching organisation, headquartered in Tokyo.
The mission of UNU is to contribute, through collaborative research and education, to efforts to resolve the pressing global problems of human survival, development and welfare that are the concern of the United Nations, its Peoples and the Member States.
The WEF Nexus Index (https://wefnexusindex.org/) is a national-level composite indicator founded on 21 relevant indicators. This partnership offer is to utilise the WEF Nexus Index as a tool within a PRIMA MED project to (1) undertake a WEF assessment of the participatory states/MENA nations, (2) Extend the WEF assessment of the participatory states/MENA nations to a WEFE assessment, and/or (3) undertake a sub-national level WEF/WEFE assessment of one or more participatory states/MENA nations utilising the methodology used to develop the WEF Nexus Index. The output could be included in the WEF Nexus Index website.
