We have developed AgriFlow, a state-of-the-art precision agriculture platform (v3.0) designed for the non-invasive monitoring of Mediterranean farming systems.Data Fusion & AI: The platform integrates Sentinel-2 satellite imagery, IoT sensors (SNIC platform), and farmer observations. We apply Machine Learning (Random Forest and Gradient Boosting) to predict crop health and detect early signs of stress.Bioclimatic Context: AgriFlow calculates Growing Degree Days (GDD) and Evapotranspiration (ET) via the FAO Penman-Monteith method, providing critical environmental data for pest and disease forecasting.Topographic Analysis: Using Copernicus DEM (30 m resolution), we analyze elevation, slope, and aspect to understand microclimatic influences on pest outbreaks
We are looking for:
– Agronomy Experts: Plant pathologists and entomologists to define pest thresholds and train our AI models (Random Forest/Gradient Boosting).
– Regional Validation: Research institutes or cooperatives in the Southern Mediterranean (Maghreb/Mashreq) to establish Living Labs and validate the system under real operational and critical agro-climatic conditions.
– Governance & Adoption: Official bodies (NPPOs) for regulatory alignment—especially for regulated pests—and SSH experts to develop trust-building strategies and analyze socio-economic drivers for Decision Support Systems (DSS) adoption.
– IoT Hardware: Developers of smart traps or optical sensors capable of providing real-time data that can be integrated via our API v2 architecture for hyper-local forecasting
