Atatürk University is a public research university in Erzurum, Türkiye, with strong capacity in agricultural sciences and applied livestock research. The relevant expertise is primarily based within the Faculty of Agriculture, particularly through the Department of Field Crops, the Department of Animal Science, and Food Engineering-related expertise, with complementary support from the Veterinary Faculty. This multidisciplinary structure provides expertise in forage and protein crops, mixed cropping and silage systems, animal nutrition, ruminant feed evaluation and biological validation, and the processing and stabilisation of agri-food side-streams for feed use.

We are seeking one additional partner from North Africa to contribute to regional validation and SSH-related activities. The main role would be to support farmer adoption analysis, socio-economic barriers, stakeholder engagement, and replication potential in North African Mediterranean livestock systems. Partners with experience in livestock systems, rural advisory/extension, innovation uptake, agri-food value chains, or socio-economic assessment are especially welcome.
