Topics of interest
Topic 1.3.1‑2026 (IA) – Sustainable On‑Site Transformation of Perishable Mediterranean Agri‑food Products
Topic 2.3.1‑2026 (RIA) – Digital traceability and Mediterranean agri‑food value chains
UNIPA is seeking to join or co‑develop PRIMA 2026 consortia in both Innovation Actions (IA) and Research and Innovation Actions (RIA) focused on sustainable agri‑food transformation and nutrition‑driven innovation.
For IA projects, UNIPA aims to contribute as a scientific and validation partner, providing nutritional and physiological assessment, health impact evaluation, human pilot studies, and dissemination, supporting the demonstration and uptake of innovative agri‑food solutions.
For RIA projects, UNIPA seeks collaboration in consortia developing digital and context‑aware traceability solutions, contributing expertise in nutrition, functional foods, food quality evaluation, and health‑related indicators, strengthening the link between traceability, nutritional value, and consumer trust.
UNIPA is open to collaborating with coordinators, SMEs, producers, cooperatives, technology providers, and partners from Mediterranean Partner Countries (MPCs).
UNIPA is open to joining both existing consortia and newly forming proposals. Early interaction with coordinators and partners is welcome to align scientific contributions, roles, and work package design in line with PRIMA objectives and timelines.
