The Faculty of Sports Sciences at Assiut University Egypt plays a key role in the Red Sea region, focusing on several key areas, including: Training divers in environmental awareness, such as developing motor skills like optimal buoyancy and the frog kick to prevent coral breakage or sand disturbance. Preparing divers as scientists, including organizing campaigns to clean the seabed of plastic and fishing nets, and monitoring coral bleaching. Furthermore, integrating green environmental protocols (such as Green Fins) into the curriculum, and graduating leaders and investors who manage diving tourism as an activity that protects nature and supports the blue economy.
