Novel approach to breeding in challenging climate
We are an analytical agri-tech startup from Mainz. We recently started our project on optimising the breeding of stone-fruits by analysing the RNA Modifications (www.ripenome.com). In particular m6A is seen as a biomarker for yield and resilience of plants.

DESCRIPTION

We are looking forward to contribute to a consortium by transferring our technology to the selection of varieties and breeding new crop as feed in the challenging Mediterranean climate. Our technology is not CRISPR based. It can be indeed a selection tool for utilising CRISPR, in the same way as selecting crops within traditional breeding.
