IMIRRA builds on over 15 years of experience in implementing development projects and operating demonstration and pilot activities under real farming conditions across Jordan. This foundation has established strong expertise in capacity building, stakeholder engagement, climate change adaptation, and the application of innovative WEFE nexus solutions addressing soil, water, and climate-related challenges in agriculture.
As an SME, IMIRRA brings integrated, field-based capacity across the full innovation cycle, from technology development and system assembly to validation and scaling.
Through our 10-acre climate-smart Living Lab in the Jordan Valley, we provide a practical platform for demonstrating, testing, and refining solutions under real conditions. This includes decentralized water technologies such as desalination and efficient irrigation systems, as well as post-harvest and value-addition solutions. The platform is supported by strong partnerships with farmers, Water User Associations (WUAs), and local stakeholders, enabling structured capacity building, co-creation, and continuous feedback. We also conduct assessments of technical performance, economic feasibility, and environmental impact to support market readiness and scalability.

– Topic 1.1.1-2026 (IA): Decentralized Brackish Water Desalination for Climate-Resilient and Resource-Efficient Mediterranean Agriculture
We bring capacity as a technology developer and field validation partner, including the assembly, integration, and on-farm testing of decentralized desalination systems. Combined with our experience in irrigation management and water accounting, we support performance assessment, water-use efficiency analysis, and validation of technical and economic viability under real farming conditions.
– Topic 1.3.1-2026 (IA): Sustainable on-site transformation of perishable Mediterranean agri-products
Through our facilities and post-harvest focus, we support the piloting and validation of technologies that reduce post-harvest losses and enhance value addition at farm and cooperative levels.
– Topic 1.4.1-2026 (CSA): Institutionalizing and scaling the Mediterranean WEFE Nexus Community of Practice for cross-sectoral governance and policy uptake
We contribute practical, field-based insights to strengthen WEFE nexus implementation, stakeholder coordination, and knowledge exchange.
