As a ClimateTech SME specializing in chemical engineering and water treatment, we are seeking to join a consortium for the PRIMA 2026 call. We provide practical industrial application capabilities and local market knowledge. Our proposed role in the consortium includes:
Design & Implementation: Co-developing and piloting low-cost, decentralized brackish water desalination systems tailored for agricultural reuse. We focus heavily on reducing energy requirements to make the systems affordable for small-scale farming systems.
Circular Brine Management: Applying our chemical expertise to implement circular brine management strategies that prevent environmental harm and enable the recovery and reuse of by-products (e.g., nutrients, minerals).
Piloting & Scaling: Providing real-world testing environments in Egypt to elevate the technology from TRL 5 to TRL 7-8. We will also assist in validating business models for smallholder adoption.
We are actively looking for a Project Coordinator and research institutions/universities to form a strong Multi-Actor Approach consortium.
We operate with an industrial and financial mindset, prioritizing realistic ROI, scalability, and actual market uptake in developing regions. We are well-equipped to lead work packages related to pilot testing, business model validation, and end-user engagement.
